How can collaboration in film and cultural productions be shaped positively from the very start?
Whether on a film set, at a festival or within a cultural institution: we offer formats designed to do exactly that – from day one and throughout the entire production.
A good working atmosphere – built in before production begins.
The way a team works together is decided before the cameras start rolling. In our Head-Of Training and Onboarding Process, we prepare your key decision-makers: they get to know one another, develop a Code of Conduct for the production period, clarify roles and communication channels, and define escalation levels for conflicts and complaints – laying the foundation for a production that doesn't just function, but holds up under time and budget pressure.
Community Building First – Decision Making Second: What does a team need in order for everyone to connect?
The first shared moment matters. The Warm-Up brings all crew members together – across departments and crafts – for a structured get-to-know-you session, the development of a shared Code of Conduct and a mutual commitment to upholding it. Hours that set the tone. For respect, clarity and a common understanding of how we work together here. And who to turn to if something goes wrong: the confidential adviser and the available reporting channels.
Who is there when a boundary is crossed or an incident occurs during production? The trusted person.
As external trusted persons, we are on standby throughout film and cultural productions for conversations with those affected – in cases of conflict, boundary violations or misconduct. Those affected receive confidential initial advice within 48 hours: a safe space to talk, explore their options and make an informed decision about next steps. On request, we also accompany individuals through the formal complaints process. Because fair collaboration means no one is left to navigate it alone.
The AGG (German General Equal Treatment Act) requires all companies and institutions to provide a complaints office. We support the establishment of an internal complaints office through training and preparation of the staff who take on this responsibility. We also offer an external complaints office in partnership with our partner law firm VCvF.
